Industrial's Voice

EVAT is a non-profit association, aiming to promote and support knowledge exchange in electric vehicle technology and innovation.

To drive the country's electrification plan, the National EV policy committee has already announced ZEV target, aiming to achieve around 50% of all newly registration cars as ZEV within 2030. Thailand has a very clear target to achieve around 20 percent greenhouse gas reduction by 2030. The country's working group on greenhouse gas reduction plan has also drawn up a roadmap for different sectors, including the energy and transport sectors.

As a co-organizer of EV Asia and iEVTech over the last many years, we see new opportunities in the new electric vehicle industries. This is truly an international platform where all the experts in the fields of researchers, developers, policy makers and EV related suppliers will come to the same venue.

Oriental Copper is the manufacturer of high conductivity Copper Busbar and Copper Fabricated Products. This is the first time that Oriental Copper has participated at this event. It is a great honor for us as well. We have been conducting the copper business for 27 years and entering 28 years. We see the show will provide benefit for our business. By participating at the show Thai people who attend this event will get to know us more as a high-quality copper manufacturer. This is why we decided to join this show.

We focus on mainly the technology of production. We can produce copper in many forms. In the past, we primarily produced copper for use in the electric power industry. Now we have stepped up the production of electrical equipment that is not related to Power but focusing on EVs. Electric Vehicle Asia also has EVs, which is a trend that we can focus on, and this is a business that we want to focus on this time.

Ms. Tuang-Hong Thiptarangoon

Trumpf is a German Company. We sell laser machines to manufacturers of batteries, battery cells, battery packs and others. This is my first time to join this show. I'm very pleased that I came. We saw a lot of local companies exhibiting and a lot of local customers. I think it is quite important to connect with Thai Industry and Thai local manufacturers and that's why we here.

I will be giving a talk on Laser Manufacturing. It will be on how to weld batteries made from copper and aluminum material emphasizing laser excellence and effortlessness. It helps to reduce the cost and improve the product quality. We go both directions to make it faster but cheaper but, on another hand, we also make it higher value and better quality. We provide the right tools and the right technology for our customers.

Regional Director Laser Division,
Sales & Technology,
